Business-to-business B2B eCommerce solutions provider Ariba has appointed Tony Yip as managing director for its Greater China operations. Based in Hong Kong, Yip reports to Lawrence Wee, vice president and managing director for Ariba Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Ariba, Yip was regional practice leader Greater China at Deloitte Consulting where he was responsible for establishing the Oracle practice with a focus on e-business strategies. Before that, he was managing director North Asia of JD Edwards World Solutions, where he built direct and channel networks across the region while developing the companyÆs North Asia operations from the ground up.
