Watson names new Greater China head

Patrick Huang will run Greater China as Watson Wyatt prepares to launch its China retirement practice.

Watson Wyatt has promoted Patrick Huang as managing director for Greater China based in Shanghai. He replaces Frank Gallo, who is retiring. Gallo had run the Greater China business for three years, and had served at Watson Wyatt for a total of 15 years in Asia and the United States.

Gallo is returning to his home in Los Angeles but is also going to become a professor at Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing. He will lecture on human resources for the university's MBA program.
