Law firm Allen Overy has announced the appointment of Thomas Brown as a managing partner and head of its Tokyo office. Brown will move to Japan from AO in Bangkok, where he headed the banking and projects team.
Brown pictured right has had extensive experience throughout Asia with AO, having previously acted as an associate in Tokyo between 1991 and 1993, a partner in the Hong Kong office from 1996, and then in Bangkok from 1999.
His main area of expertise has been in structuring project lending to a number of business sectors, notably telecom, power, cable and property.
