Terry departs Lovells partnership for Morgan Stanley

Greg Terry becomes managing director and general counsel for Asia Pacific.

Morgan Stanley have lured Lovells partner Greg Terry from the corporate practice to become managing director and general counsel for the firm's Asia-Pacific business. In the new position, Terry will assume overall responsibility for Morgan Stanley's legal and regulatory functions in Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. He has also been appointed to Morgan Stanley's Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

Terry will report to Alasdair Morrison, chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley Asia and Keith Clark, international general counsel for Morgan Stanley. He previously reported to Morrison when the two worked at Jardine Matheson. According to Terry, this was motivating factor for the move to Morgan Stanley.
