Standard Chartered has rolled out a number moves in its management team, in particular in the consumer banking division and the operations department. All promotions are in Hong Kong and reflect its desire to drive future growth of consumer banking in China.
Effective 1 March, Tan Kong Khoon, assumes the position of regional head of consumer banking, China and Hong Kong. He is promoted from his current position as head, consumer banking, Hong Kong and be succeeded by Ben Hung, currently chief operating officer.
