Standard Chartered recently strengthened its asset-backed securitization ABS business with the hires of Rahul Arora, Peter Dow and Nicholas Winther. Arora joins as managing director responsible for all non-origination related aspects of the business Dow as a director charged with building the bank's global ABS and MBS distribution capabilities, while Winther has been hired as an associate.
Arora will be based initially in the United States and reports to Martin Essenburg, global head of asset securitization at StanChart. He joins after six years working in a variety of roles at Bank of America.
