S&P expands Bailey's role

Company veteran named managing director of corporate & government ratings for Greater China.

Standard Poor's Ratings has announced that John Bailey will take on an expanded role, adding another title after over 15 years with the company. He will now assume the title of managing director of corporate government ratings for Greater China and will continue to report to Paul Coughlin, SP's Singapore based managing director for corporate and government services for Asia.

In the new role, Bailey will drive the direction and day-to-day operations of the ratings service's financial institutions, insurance, corporate and government credit ratings and related activities for Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
