Perennial appoints Japanese equities analyst

Patrick Lebourdais joins the fund management firm from Pioneer.
Patrick Lebourdais has joined Perennial Investment Partners as a senior equities analyst covering Japanese equities. Lebourdais has spent the last four years as vice president at Pioneer Investment Management in Singapore working on its Japanese equities fund.

Lebourdais will shift to Sydney to work for Perennial. He will be responsible for research for the firmÆs Japanese Equities Trust which has delivered a net annual return of 5.3% over the past five years compared to 2.2% per annum growth recorded by the MSCI Japan Accumulation Index.
