Pease joins Russell as investment strategist in Australia

Andrew Pease resigns as chief economist at JPMorgan to help Russell grow its investment consulting and managed funds businesses.
Russell Investment Group in Australia has created a new investment strategist role and appointed Andrew Pease to fill it.

Pease will report to RussellÆs chief investment officer for the Asia Pacific, Peter Gunning, and will work with the firmÆs institutional clients to build on its investment consulting and managed funds businesses.

Russell has been building on its consulting services to Australian clients, creating an alternative asset and strategy research group, as well as a capital markets research group. The firm now has A$16 billion of Australian-sourced assets under management, much of this in multi-manager funds.
