Paul Hastings expands practice with three partners

The finance partners join the Tokyo and Hong Kong offices from rival firms.
International law firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky Walker LLP has added three finance partners in Asia as it aims to increase its coverage in the region.

Joseph Kim and David Vance have joined the firmÆs Tokyo office from Latham Watkins and Baker McKenzie respectively, while Patricia Tan Openshaw, who was previously with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher Flom LLP, has joined the firmÆs Hong Kong office.

Kim focuses on leveraged finance, project development and project finance throughout Asia. He has represented commercial banks, sponsors and export credit agencies as well as a number of private equity investors, and private and publicly held companies in various transactions.
