New Singapore MD for Alliance

Michael Khoo is retiring and James Thyne will grab the baton.

Michael Khoo is retiring as managing director at Alliance Capital Management in Singapore after running the shop for the past 10 years. His main responsibility has been institutional business development, including origination and client servicing for Southeast Asia, as well as overseeing the 43-person office. He ran institutional sales both for Alliance's traditional growth fund management skills as well as the value style product provided by Alliance unit Sanford C. Bernstein Co.
