New recruits to HSBC's cash management team

The bank announces hires in India, China and Indonesia.

HSBC's payments and cash management division has made several hires in India, China and Indonesia.

Natasha Patel has been poached from the top cash job at Standard Chartered in India to head HSBC's efforts in that country. Patel joined Standard Chartered in 1991 and became the head of cash management in 1999. Prior to this, she looked after the liabilities portfolio in the corporate bank and was in credit management.

Patel has also been a relationship manager with Credit Lyonnais India. She started her career with La Compagnie Financiere and Edmond de Rothschild Banque in Paris and, after moving to India, joined American Express Bank...
