Another quarter and another of the 'magic circle' law firms from the UK announces a new managing partner for its Asian operations. This time it is Linklaters, which has appointed Simon Davies to the top job in the region.
Davies has moved to Hong Kong from Tokyo and has spent the last three months getting established. He takes over from Andrew Roberts who has been in the position for four years. While Roberts ran the firm's Asian operations including Japan from Singapore, Davies will run the show from Hong Kong
