Deutsche Bank has appointed Ashish Malhotra as vice-president of bondloan syndicate for global markets.
Malhotra will be responsible for both local currency and cross-border syndication of debt securities and loans in the non-Japan Asian region. He will report to Paul Smith, head of Asian bondloan syndicate.
Malhotra was previously the director of debt capital markets at ING Barings in Hong Kong, a position he held for five years. He has also held several positions in both Hong Kong and Manila, covering primary debt origination and syndication as well as local currency and cross-border debt products throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
