Citi continues to expand its branch network in China, while the Agricultural Bank of China and ME Bank award mandates to service providers.

Citi opens two further sub-branches in China

Following last week’s opening of a sub-branch in Shanghai, Citibank China has opened two new sub-branches in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The new smart banking branch in Guangzhou is Citi’s third consumer outlet in the province.

“We are committed to extending our presence around China,” said Simon Chow, country business manager at Citibank China. “We hope and expect this smart banking outlet will be well received in the local market as it delivers innovative new means by which retail customers can conduct their banking business with optimal convenience.”
