Lyndon Hsu is starting work at Standard Chartered as global head, leveraged and structured solutions this weekend, creating bespoke financing solutions for acquisitive companies after leaving HSBC in March.
Hsu will be based in Singapore and report to Sumit Dayal, global head, corporate finance. His appointment is effective July 1. Hsu is replacing Sanjay Chowdhry, who is leaving StanChart.
HSBC named James Horsburgh to replace Hsu as head of leveraged and acquisition finance for Asia Pacific in March. HSBC also hired Ray Doody from JP Morgan in February as global head of leveraged and acquisition finance.
