JPMorgan has announced that Bernard Liu will lead its research operations in Taiwan under the title of head of equity research and Taiwan equity strategist. He will join the bank in mid February, directly to Jose Linares, JPMorgan's Hong Kong based head of equities research for Asia.
Liu joins JPMorgan's Taiwan operations from Goldman Sachs where he was the head of the Taiwan mid-caps team and also responsible for the management of junior analysts.
His research experience also includes covering communications technology and networking companies, as well as equity strategy in Taiwan.
