Liu extends JPMorgan's China coverage

Appointed managing director and vice chairman for China.

JPMorgan has again signalled its bullish intentions on the Mainland by recruiting another high profile name. Sherry Liu comes into the fold as managing director and vice chairman for JPMorgan Chase China.

Liu's newly created position on the investment banking side follows the recent appointment of Frank Gong as managing director, head of research and chief economist for China. Liu will report to Charles Li, chairman and chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase China.

Working closely with her new boss, Liu assumes responsibility for expanding the bank's existing investment banking client coverage and developing strategic business initiatives.
