Linklaters hires seven new lawyers in Tokyo

Five internal transfers and two new additions boost firm''s Japanese practice.

International law firm Linklaters has formally announced the recent additions of seven new lawyers to its Tokyo practice to help boost its presence in the capital markets, structured finance and corporate finance sectors.

On the general capital markets side, Linklaters Tokyo has brought in Julie Greenall-Ota, Thomas Madden and Paul de Francisci. Greenall has transferred from the London office and practices in structured finance and derivatives products.

Madden joined the firm from Sidley Austin Brown Wood's SABW San Francisco office and specializes in international capital markets and corporate finance, while de Francisci, another transfer from London, has experience in debt and equity markets, repackagings and structured finance.
