It was a quiet week in the Equity Capital Markets with under $500 million raised from 15 deals. Only one transaction surpassed $100 million รป the $173 million convertible for Chaoda Modern Agriculture run by JP Morgan.

This trade was combined with a $72 million bought deal, which also featured JP Morgan as bookrunner. The credit from these two pushed the US house up one place into eighth and moved it through the $1 billion barrier from a total of 13 deals.
