Du Yilong has joined Latham Watkins as a partner in Hong Kong where he will work on Chinese companies' equity deals among other matters, according to a statement by the firm on Monday.
Du joined the US law firm this month after serving as an executive director and senior counsel at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and Beijing, Latham told FinanceAsia.
Du has has worked on equity capital markets transactions and mergers and acquisitions in mainland China, Hong Kong and the US.
He has advised China's large state-owned enterprises and major private companies, providing legal support for Goldman's investment banking transactions...
