Four key appointments have been made to Jardine FlemingÆs research team in Korea.
Peter Lee will be director, head of research. He joins from HSBC Investment Bank, Seoul branch where he was head of research.
John Choi will be responsible for bank sector coverage. He was previously with Bank of Montreal, Singapore.
Soo-Hyun Steve Whang will be responsible for steel, electric power sectors and some technology stocks. Previously, he was with Daewoo Securities, Bank of America and Dean Witter Reynolds.
Ji Young Angie Won was most recently with HSBC as junior internet analyst. Prior to that, she was with Medison, a Korean ultrasound manufacturer.
