Julius Baer is carrying on its hiring spree with an announcement last week that it has appointed Lawrence Lua as senior advisor in Singapore with immediate effect. He will report to Wilfried Kofmehl, head of private banking for Southeast Asia, and help to further develop the bank's business in the region.
Lua brings more than 27 years of banking experience to the Swiss private bank. He started his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and, prior to Julius Baer, he was managing director investment at Merrill Lynch, and country head for Citibank Private Bank Singapore.
