JP Morgan names APAC investment banking co-head

Paul Uren, JP Morgan's chief executive in Australia and New Zealand, joins Murli Maiya as co-head of investment banking for the broader region.

Paul Uren has been appointed JP Morgan's co-head of investment banking coverage for the Asia-Pacific region, according to a Wednesday memo seen by FinanceAsia.

Uren, up until now chief executive of JP Morgan Australia and New Zealand, will relocate to Hong Kong in the coming months to work alongside fellow co-head Murli Maiya. Both will report to Filippo Gori, JP Morgan’s head of banking and deputy CEO in the Asia Pacific region. 

Uren joined JP Morgan in 2015 to help global investment banking in Australia and New Zealand and was appointed a senior country officer in 2017.
