JP Morgan appoints new Hong Kong CEO

Filippo Gori replaces Kam Shing Kwang, who will focus on the US bank’s private banking business in Asia.

JP Morgan has appointed Filippo Gori as chief executive officer for Hong Kong, effective October 1, according to a memo seen by FinanceAsia

Gori is also head of sales and marketing for markets and investor services in Asia Pacific. In his new role as Hong Kong CEO, he will help facilitate local governance, coordination and controls as well as fostering employee and community engagement across JP Morgan’s business units in Hong Kong.
