iAsiaWorks, an internet services provider that hopes to transform itself into a web hosting and co-location company such as Exodus of the US, said it hired Lawrence T.K. Wee, former general manager of industry services at IBM Global Services in Asia, to head up its fledgling internet hosting business.
Wee was named president of iAsiaWorks Asia Pacific. He will be responsible for developing the company's web hosting, co-location and managed services business across Asia. At IBM Global Services, Wee was responsible for customer satisfaction in several of IBM's AsiaPacific services.
