HSBC Investments has appointed Patrick Tse in a newly created role as head of strategic planning and investment communications. He will take responsibility for HSBC Investment's strategic development in the Asia-Pacific region, while also boosting its investor communications effort.
He will report to Blair Pickerell, chief executive, Asia-Pacific. Tse joins HSBC Investments from Booz Allen Hamilton, a global strategic and technology firm based out of Virginia, where he was responsible for its financial services practice in Greater China.
His job change marks the second time he has worked for HSBC. He started his career with the bank in 1985.
