HSBC's global payments and cash management PCM business in Korea has received a sizable boost, with the bank announcing 15 appointments to the division. The move comes as HSBC looks to expand its Korea footprint organically and covers the areas of sales, client management and product management.
The bolstered sales team will be lead by Jong Sil Lee, head of corporate institutional banking sales and Hye-Joon Park, head of commercial banking sales. The appointments will also enable HSBC's Korean PCM business to target a greater number of Korean companies, from large domestics and multinationals and smaller enterprises.
