Ho goes to SSgA

Veronica Ho jumps ship from UBS for active quantitative equity team role.

State Street Global Advisors SSgA has announced that Veronica Ho is to join the team in Hong Kong from UBS. Ho will answer to the title of portfolio manager in the active quantitative equity team with a focus on the non-Japan Asia markets. In the new position, she replaces Bing Lin, who left the company several months back for an undisclosed location.

For the investment management arm of State Street, Ho reports directly to Justin Pascoe, chief investment officer for SSgA in Asia ex-Japan. Upon moving to the firm in April, Ho joins a team with some 30 members located in offices such as Paris, London, Boston, Montreal, Sydney, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
