Hong Kong's second-largest ISP has appointed local IT veteran Ronald Cheung as president. Cheung joins the company from the Hong Kong Productivity Council where he held the position of general manager at the Information Services Division. Prior to that he worked as an IT consultant in Hong Kong and mainland China, where he made contributions to the promotion of technolgy among SMEs.
Cheung will be responsible for overseeing the company's business development in the competitive e-business arena. In line with these plans HKNet has also announced plans to open a new Digital Business Data Center in Kwai Chung this July to offer hosting for e-commerce solutions.
