Herbert Smith Freehills names six partners in Asia

The new partners, effective May 1, are based in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore and Tokyo.

International law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has promoted six new partners in Asia, as part of a 27-partner global promotion round. The new partners are based in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore and Tokyo, with all promotions effective May 1, 2024.

Tokyo-based Christopher Clay, a specialist in corporate crime and investigations, has been promoted. Clay advises clients on internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, crisis management and civil and criminal enforcement actions before authorities in the US, Europe, Japan and Asia.

In Singapore, Lucy Curran, an MA and private capital lawyer, has been promoted. Curran advises private capital and corporate clients on complex cross-border acquisitions, sell-side processes, investments...
