Gordon Paterson has become the latest recruit to Salomon Smith Barney's bulging investment banking team. He will join as a managing director and co-head of Asian MA, a role he will share with Steve Schiller.
Paterson joins SSB from CSFB where he was the head of southeast Asian investment banking. Paterson had been at CSFB since the June 2000 merger of the firm with DLJ. Prior to that he had run DLJ's Asian corporate finance team since 1994.
