Goldman woos Gigi

Not the all-singing Parisian courtesan, but a lawyer from Deutsche Bank.

Goldman Sachs has hired lawyer Gigi Kit-Jing Woo to work as counsel in the investment banking group's legal team.

Woo joins from Deutsche Bank, where she has worked as legal counsel in the bank's debt capital markets group since 2001.

Prior to moving in-house she worked in private practice for two of London's magic-circle law firms first with blue-blooded corporate specialists Slaughter and May, and subsequently in the capital markets group at Clifford Chance, one of the world's largest law firms.

An Oxford graduate, Woo is qualified in both Hong Kong and the UK.
