Expect a rise in divorce among the super wealthy

Law firm Withers warns Hong KongÆs wealthy to protect their assets in divorce following a landmark case that is likely to prompt more disgruntled spouses to file through the courts.
Withers, an international law firm with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, released a paper this week warning that the number of divorce cases and size of settlements are expected to increase due to a landmark Hong Kong case.

The firm says that wealthy individuals in Hong Kong may be unknowingly at risk of losing millions of dollars in trust assets due to a financial family law judgment in March this year.
