FinanceAsia recently spoke with Jo Miyake, head of banking, Asia and Middle East at HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking. 

Miyake pictured took on the role in January 2025, as part of bank's global restructure, and has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, and has worked in New York, London, and Hong Kong. He has been at HSBC since 2021 and previously worked at Bank of America, and prior to that JP Morgan.
