SBI E2-Capital - the JV between E2-Capital and Softbank Investment International - has hired Edmond Eng to run the firm's greater China business. Eng's full title will Director and CEO of SBI E2-Capital China Holdings. He will run the firm's businesses in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and will be based in Hong Kong.
Eng has had a long and illustrious career in banking and invesment. He has worked with ABN Amro and ABN Amro Rothschild, Chase Manhattan and Morgan Stanley both in Hong Kong and New York.
