Chang Joo Kim joins the New York office.

Dorsey Whitney has hired Chang Joo C.J. Kim as a partner in the corporate department of the firm's the New York office. Kim is responsible for the Korean practice group, which includes restructuring, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.

He joins from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher Flom and has represented clients such as Korea Asset Management Corporation, Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation and Korea Electric Power Corporation, as well as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS Warburg.

James Swire, head of Dorsey's New York office comments, C.J. has unique and important experience with Korean legal transactions to enable us to assist major Korean clients.
