Deutsche makes two new senior equity hires

Colin Fan and Charles McLaughlin take on Asian equities roles.

Deutsche Bank has announced two key hires in its Asian equities department with Colin Fan and Charles McLaughlin taking on senior positions in Hong Kong.

Fan will relocate from Deutsche's New York office to become head of Asian equities responsible for cash equities, programme trading, equity derivatives and prime services. Effective immediately, Fan will relinguish his current role as global head of convertibles trading and co-head of structured trading.

Past experience also includes being global head of emerging markets credit derivatives, a position he held from 2001 to 2004. In his new role, Fan will report Loh Boon Chye, head of global markets Asia, as well...
