Deutsche Bank has appointed Werner Steinmueller to global head of transaction banking, cementing the bank's alignment of its cash management, trade, and trust securities services business. The bank began the restructuring process at the end of last year and the appointment of Steinmueller to head the GTB operation marks the conclusion to the re-organization process.
Steinmueller has been with Deutsche Bank since 1991 and the role of global head of GTB is a newly created position. His function is to ensure a strong customer focus, enhance regional alignment and foster closer cooperation between the GTB businesses. He is based in Frankfurt.
