Deutsche appoints Tokyo vice chairman

Ryoji Musha takes on a newly created role for the bank in Japan.

Deutsche Securities has announced the appointment of Ryoji Musha as vice chairman and chief investment officer of its Tokyo offices. Musha was formerly chief equity strategist and this position will now be taken on by Mamoru Shimode.

In his capacity as vice chairman, Musha will work alongside chairman Toru Hashimoto. As chief investment officer, he will advice clients on asset allocation recommendations across yen-based asset classes.

In this role, he will also work closely with Deutsche's research and product teams to deliver broad-based analysis and comprehensive portfolios.
