Asia ex Japan ECM volume stands at $1.7bn via 16 deals so far this week compared to the $300m via 14 deals completed in the previous week.

Chinese issuer Huaneng Power International completed a $471m follow-on via CITIC Securities in what is the largest Asia ex Japan ECM transaction this week.

Asia ex Japan Utility Energy ECM volume stands at $4.4bn via 25 deals in 2018 YTD, down from $6.9bn in the same 2017 period and the lowest YTD volume since 2009 $4.2bn. Only 25 deals were completed so far this year, down from 38 deals in 2017 YTD...
