Credit Suisse hires Zhu for China IB team

Joining from Deutsche Bank, Zhu will focus on Chinese state-owned enterprises with an ambition to expand abroad.

Credit Suisse has hired Arthur Zhu from Deutsche Bank as a managing director in its China investment banking division. Zhu, who will initially be based in Beijing, will focus on the coverage of state-owned enterprises û a category of firms which has become more and more active on the MA front in the past couple of years.

He will report to Liping Zhang, who is vice-chairman of the non-Japan Asia investment banking department and head of the China investment banking department.
