Crédit Agricole nabs debt veteran from ANZ

After a decade away from the French bank, Dominique Blanchard returns to take up a regional leadership role. He'll be charged with drumming up new business in Asia.

Dominique Blanchard, a 25-year investment banking veteran, is returning to Crédit Agricole after working for ANZ and Daiwa Sumitomo over the past decade, the French company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Based in Hong Kong, Blanchard will join the French bank as regional head of its global markets division for Asia Pacific. The unit handles all sales and trading activities on the primary and secondary markets for corporate and institutional investors, as well as issuers.
