International law firm Clifford Chance has announced the appointment of Kenji Kawahigashi as a partner in its Tokyo office. Kawahigashi joins its capital markets practice, heading over from Asahi Koma Law Offices, where he was a partner.
Clifford Chance's new hire specializes in financial markets and securities regulations, while also bringing experience in the asset management industry. For the firm, he will focus on building a regulatory practice for its financial institution clients and on covering the regulatory aspects of transactional work ranging from capital markets, public MA, finance and funds.
