Citigroup switches GTS heads

Nigel Dobson takes Singapore position while Derek Syme inherits Australia and New Zealand.

Citigroup has made two new appointments in its global transaction services division. Nigel Dobson has moved from Sydney to Singapore to head the bank's cash management, trade finance and securities services in the Lion City and Brunei, replacing Linus Goh who moved to OCBC Bank in April. Goh now runs OCBC's international banking operations.

Meanwhile, Derek Syme has assumed Dobson's old role as head of GTS in Australia and New Zealand. Syme was previously head of relationship management and sales for the transactional banking division.

Both Dobson and Syme are Kiwis, and long-term Citibankers.
