Citi appoints new head of financing, markets in Asia

Citi has appointed Ed Huntsman as head of financing, markets for Japan, Asia North Australia and Asia South. Starting July 22, Huntsman has been assigned with developing Citi’s performance and strategy of fixed income financing solutions, according to a media release.

Citi’s fixed income financing practice offers a selection of funding options for both local and global financial institutions, corporates and governments. 

Huntsman pictured joined Citi in 2007, and his appointment in Asia, where he will be based in Hong Kong, comes after his most recent role at the bank as global head of financing for spread products. According to the release, Huntsman “significantly grew” business...
