Branigan new head of investment banking for Dresdner

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein appoints a new head of investment banking for Asia ex-Japan.

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein has promoted Alun Branigan to head of investment banking for Asia excluding Japan. Branigan succeeds Alex Forrester.

Based in Hong Kong, Branigan will also maintain responsibility for the Telecoms, Media and Technology TMT investment banking team in Asia, in addition to this new role.

Branigan has more than 11 years experience in Asian investment banking, joining Kleinwort Benson in 1989. He has worked on transactions all over the region, but with a particular focus on the power and telecoms industries. He is a founder member of the APEC Privatization Experts Group.
