BNP adds to India team

Jwalant Nanavati has joined BNP Paribas as co-head of corporate finance in India.

Based in Mumbai, he will report to Ganeshan Murugaiyan, head of investment banking and strategic coverage for BNP Paribas in India. Murugaiyan will also share the title of co-head of corporate finance.

Prior to this appointment, Nanavati was director, investment banking at Deutsche Bank in India, where his key responsibilities included MA and capital markets.

Jacques Michel, chief executive officer and country head of BNP Paribas India, said the hire demonstrates BNP Paribas’ commitment to India.
