Barclays Wealth hires Bryan Henning from Standard Chartered

Bryan Henning moves to Barclays Wealth to head up global research and investments for Asia.

Barclays Wealth, the global wealth management division of Barclays, has poached Bryan Henning from Standard Chartered to head global research and investments in Asia.  

Henning, who joins Barclays Wealth as a managing director, will also be a member of the Barclays Wealth Asia-Pacific management committee. He reports regionally to Didier von Daeniken, chief executive of Barclays Wealth Asia-Pacific, and functionally to Tom Lee, head of global investment products, and Steve Houston, head of distribution. 

Henning will be based in Singapore and will be in charge of developing and marketing investment ideas and solutions to the Asia private banking business. He will also supervise governance standards for product-related operational procedures, internal controls...
