Barclays keeps up with the Jones

British bank gains a new head of Asian debt syndicate.

Barclays Capital has announced the appointment of Andrew Jones as its new head of debt syndicate in Asia. Jones transfers from London where he was previously head of financial institutions syndicate.

Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Geert Vinken, global head of syndicate.

Jones has worked for Barclays since 2000 and before that Credit Suisse First Boston. Before moving to syndicate, he headed short-term trading in London.
